After bringing you mountain tennis for 13 years, our bubble is close to its demise.  The four court bubble is scheduled to be replaced with a six court frame and fabric structure during this summer season.  This work is contingent on the tennis playing community, local and visitor, raising 1/6 of the projected $2.1 million renovation and expansion costs.

To date, 200+ local and out-of-town players have contributed over 2/3 ($224,000) of the $359,000 needed.  If you are reading this, whether you have played or will play at the Center, you and tennis will benefit from this effort.  There are five levels of recognition.  No donation is to small to be listed on our donor wall.

All of our USTA and STA sanctioned tournaments will be held.  The Senior Sectional and NTRP events will not, however, host Mixed Doubles (this year only).

   Log on to TennisLink at www.usta.com, Tournament, ID# 257204705 after May 25, 2004, 3:00 PM for draws (list of accepted players available May 18).  Remember, all players must be present at 8:30 AM Friday morning.  Immediately after the player's meeting, match times will be posted.

Limited 32 draw.  If more than 32 players enter, the ITA will determine acceptance order based upon Intermountain ranking.  List of accepted entries available on-line May 18, 2005.  Players not accepted in initial 32, but wishing to enter, may call The Tennis Center at Steamboat at (970) 879-8400 to be "Wait Listed".  If "Wait Listed", credit card information must be left at the time of call.  Fees will be charged if a position opens anytime prior to Thursday, May 25, 8:30 AM.
